Library classes and orientations are scheduled at various times throughout the year or by request. Classes can be customized as needed,
and contact your School Liaison to schedule. Classes are limited to current LSUHSC-NO faculty, staff, or students.

February 2026

- Introduction to RefWorks
  - Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 12pm Isché Library RCB Room 405 in person, or via Zoom (registration required)
  - Learn the basics of RefWorks, a citation management software offered by LSU Health New Orleans Libraries.
- Measurement of Health Literacy
  - Wednesday, February 25, 2026, 12pm Isché Library RCB Room 405 in person, or via Zoom (registration required)
  - This session will introduce popular readability tools and explore the advantages and limitations of different measurements. We will also discuss informal assessments of health literacy that can be used during clinical interactions.
